One by one the great jazzmen of the 1950s and 1960s are passing from the scene. The albums remain.

    This is a huge loss to jazzworld. Gonna break some of his stuff out later.

    Does that album cover remind you of any particular movie posters?

    North By Northwest? It's very Saul Bass-ian. I've always admired the artistic quality of the classic Blue Note albums, apart from the musical content. As you know, I have a couple of them displayed on my wall!
